This is a picture of the coveted gun. It came with many many trips to the local TSC where he would pine over the very thought of having it. He has somehow learned how to be a very good schemer when just happens to ask everyone he knows if they have 30 dollars and if so could he take them to TSC? Well needless to say he has slept with it, taken a bath with it and it goes on every car ride. He even told SANTA that he would be disappointed if he didn't get it.

Wii Had fun
Kaelin and Heather brought their Wii over on Christmas. It was a lot of fun for everyone. I must say that the boxing game really does give you a workout.
Tucker and AJ boxing each other
It was rather funny the watch how excited they got. AJ did win as you can tell from her upper cut!
A mellow game of tennis doubles
oh, Heather got one.
Mom and Wesley bowling. As you can see, mom is so talented she can do it with one hand behind her back.

fun with food
I remember doing the exact same things with these when I little. I would load 'em up on my fingers and then eat 'em off. She does it every time she gets to have these as snack.

Almost...
Trapper has started rocking and lunging after objects. It won't be long until he crawls. Tucker likes to coach him along and help to get up on his hand and knees but Trapper has that down pat. I can't believe that he is already 7 months old and just about crawling. It seems like yesterday that we found out about this precious surprise. Time flies when your having fun!!

hey why not!!
Scrub a dub dub, 2 rats in a tub.
These two rug rats have to soak in oatmeal bath to help out with eczema. AJ has it worse then Trapper but, nevertheless still has it. I have grown weary of having to constantly follow these soaks with cleaning the tub, so I have decided to use the sink. A little bit of bleach in the sink, a spray and were in business. They both have their own spot and she can't complain that he is kicking her. Works great!!

CLUE
THE WEAPON....
THE LOCATION....THE EVIDENCE....
THE CRIME...
Well, as you can see I had to play a game of Clue this afternoon. As we were sitting at the table playing with play-do Weston looks over at Tucker and says "did you cut your hair?" Tucker replies " I am really really sorry but yea, I did". And with that the game began.
question 1: when did you do that?
answer: I don't know...(eyes rolling)
Question 2: What scissors did you use?
answer: these (holding up the green scissors pictured above)
Question 3: where did you do this at?
answer: I don't know...
question 4: What did you do with the hair?
answer: it is in the pantry room...
Question 5: Can you show it to me?
answer: uh I think I can
Q 6: Can you help me look for it?
A: I think it is over there near the trash can.
I then located the clump of hair
Q7: did you do this earlier when you were getting a snack?
A: yes I did.
Q8: what made you do this?
A: well my hair was hanging all down in my eye so I had to cut it. I just went clip clip.
Q9: are you going to do this again?
A: no, I will get in trouble.
Luckily it was in the front and can somewhat be disguised with a little brushing.

Tagged- again
Well, I was tagged by Tiff. Here it is:
1. Your favorite Holiday Movie? Christmas Vacation
2. The best Christmas present you ever received? I don't have a best, I have always loved Christmas so all presents were great!
3. Your favorite Santa memory? Well growing up with divorced parents I always had Santa twice. I really remember the years I stayed at dads on Christmas eve and going home to moms or vise versa because it was like double anticipation on what had been brought.
Do you prefer...
4. Colored or white lights? white usually, but I have a thing where I always find a tree in town that is may favorite. I sill haven't found this year but last year my favorite was on cemetery rd and it was colored lights.
5. Artificial or real tree? artificial....just because you can leave them up longer. I love going to pick out real trees though.
6. Pre-lit or stringing your own lights? I liked pre-lit until recently when our pre-lit tree didn't look so pre-lit, because a hunk of the lights didn't work. I had to add some new ones and there went my love for the pre-lit tree.
Do you....
7. Bake anything special for the holidays? I recently discover Oreo balls. That are a little piece of heaven! I may not save them specifically for the holidays though.
8. Put your tree up before Thanksgiving? no, just got it up last week. gotta do it when I can.
9. Favorite Christmas food? spiced cider if that's considered food.
10. Favorite festive place to go? Opryland Hotel although I haven't been there since 6th grade. I also love to go to my home church's Christmas eve service. It brings back a bit of magic for me.
11. Favorite Christmas Carol? I absolutely love christmas music, any of it. I think my favorite would be what child is this or Mary did you know ( I really like the words to this one)
12. Favorite Christmas Album? ?? James Taylor's album. I missed getting it last year but a friend had it last year and we listened non-stop at work.
Hope you enjoyed it!

ugh....
Well today I am sick. Yes me!!! I am not supposed to be sick. It is not conveinant for me to be sick!! However I am. I reluctantly went to the Dr. this morning only to be told I have strep. Oh what fun. I miss my family, I miss loving on my kids and I miss my living room. I have been quarantined to the bedroom for the past 2 days. It was a wonderful thanksgiving break however and I ate way to much. I hope everyone else had a good day too. I really got to enjoy visiting with my brother because I don't get to do it that often. The kids only said his name like 5 thousand times.I thought I would give the link to his bands website. It is some really uniqe music. They have just finished recording an album. www.vinylsoup.com.

one-liners
Tucker is so funny these days with out even knowing he is doing it. Here are some of the wise old owls recent cracks:
Tucker do you want to pray for anyone? , no. Are you sure?, oh yea Mamaw Deaton she is really old!
Weston was home sick Yesterday with some sort of stomach virus/food poisoning. I later said to Tucker " you didn't even know he was home did you? He replies reluctantly as if not to hurt my feelings, yea I did. I saw his car when Gran Gran came.
He walks in to the living room and says " always making messes" while shaking his head. I said what are you talking about? He said I am always making a mess. I love to, I just can't stop. Its so fun to see things flying around and especially when the hit you in the eyeball.
We had a stray cat tonight and it was rubbing all over his leg and he said, that's a L-O-V-E cat.
Old Nannie and he like to fight sometimes and today it was over his foam sword. He said I don't understand why an old lady wants my toys.Shes always taking my toys.
Does hair have bones?
Happy Wednesday!

Tucker vernon
Well today while Trapper was sitting up watching between the lions Tucker looked up at him and says " I LOVE his hair" I said you do. He said ya! I said what do you love about it? and he responds, "I love that it doesn't stick up everywhere and is just flat on his head like daddys". Well just goes to show you, kids speak the truth.

Ansley Jane is 2 !
Ansleys party was perfect. She absolutely had the best time and it was just up her alley. The theme was a shoe party because that is what phase she is in at the time. There was a shoe cake, a shoe toss and making your own shoes by decorating shoe covers ( lame, I know but you come up with some activity that has to do with shoes for a 2 year old), ans then jumping on the bouncy thing. She fell in love with all of her presents and has already put on all of her play clothes and pranced around in them.
My favorite part of all of her brthday was the cake, not because I made it but because she truley went crazy over it. I came in last night and she saw it and starts yelling "mommy it's a SHOE look look mommy it's a SHOE" She wanted to touch it and try it on.I told her it was for her birthday and then she start singing "happy dirtday" and says for me mommy? hmm for me? It was a great time!

Captain von TRAP
This morning.... at 2 weeks....
Well 6 months ago this morning I began to feel that low back pain that might mean I was having a baby. I thought to myself, naa it is just because I am tired and went ahead and got everyone where they were supposed to be and then went on to work. As I sat drinking my coffee in my office and talking to our VA volunteer I kept thinking man this pain isn't going away. Well I called mom and she says how far apart are the pains and I said oh about 3-5 minutes. and I could practically see her eyes pop out of her head through the phone ( you see AJ was born in just under 2 hours- basically flying out) then she says you better get the hospital. I said I guess so. So I made a few phone calls and then the next thing I knew, Weston was picking me up at the front door and there we were at the hospital a few minute later. I was excited because I had been miserable for some time. I guess 3rd babies just do that to you. Anyway, we were in the delivery room practically all day and here came our baby Trapper Hampton around 4:30 that afternoon. My life has not been the same since. He truly has been the best baby and I can wait to watch him grow. Happy 6 months Trap!!
