billie bunnies needs a job!!!

Well most Fridays are fairly uneventful. That would be with "most" being the key word. I usually take AJ and Trapper to Mrs. Joys and that way I can try to get somethings done. Well I had Tucker all day as usual but he didn't ave school as normal either. I walked with dad at the mall and then came home to settle in to do my list of chores I have put off all week. I was in the bathroom attempting to tidy up when tucker runs in and says I didn't mean to do it! repeatedly. I said what, Tucker, what is it.Then I saw the blood. He actually accidentally cut the bunnies tail off. Yep, you heard me right. He cut the bunnies' tail off. not with scissors but with a plastic ball of Trappers and his plastic bin. So off we go to the Vet to have him looked at. Well a fortune and a half day later Billie bunny is going to be OK for now but will have to have antibiotics, pain meds and eventually a tail docking ( to take care of the little bone) Isn't that just gross!!! he's gonna have to do something to earn his keep. He has turned into one expensive sweet little rabbit.

ready for K-garten

Well ,we have registered Tucker for Potter Gray. Next comes the Physical and the eye exam. Well because Tucker has not really had to go to the doctor for much in the last 3 years ( minus 3 sets of stitches) I was a bit worried about his check up. Well I must say it wasn't too bad. He weighed in at 40.5 pounds and was 47. 5 inches tall. He fell into the 50th percentile in both. She said he is just plain old average. I was next concerned with the ear infection that she found that I had no suspicion of. So here we go with antibiotics. YUK!!! Then came the grueling words.... " he will receive four shots today"... WHAT!!! you can't be serious. I thought it would be just 1, not 2, not 3 but 4! I panicked. He looked at me with those sad Tucker eyes and I just reassured him it would be okay. She came in and he was excellent!! He sat so still and held both arms and one leg out for her to inject( very slowly I might add) one after another. He was allowed to go to the treasure chest but opted not to get anything. I think his feelings were hurt ( seriously, I know it sounds funny ) but hew just wanted to leave. So, we did. He wanted to get in the very back and he sat there and cried silently. I really broke my heart!! Praise the lord that we won't have to get anymore until 2014!! Next comes the eye exam but hopefully(pain free) after that we will be READY to begin the next phase of our school life, K-5. :)

Easter

No matter how hard I try I can't seem to get any family pictures of US. I was able to only partially capture the kids in their Easter attire. I think that my kids are going to look back at all of our family pictures and wonder if their mom was really there?!?

Tucker was no way, no how going to let me take his picture, so I got one with he and Karson. See how nice she smiles...
I hope you all had a happy Easter. :)

Funny Farm

A sure sign of warm weather is when you feel like you can get out and about on the farm in semi warm weather. I got out and took some snap shots of all the crazy animals that seem to have a magnetic pull on Tucker these days and therefore they drive me crazy. He just can't seem to get enough!

Here is Ada ( short for Gatorade)The sweet little stray we took in back around Christmas. I think that she might be preggers!! Just what I need!!!
Here is Butternut or better known as butter nuts by my man Tucker.
This is Bella trying to get in on the feeding action.
Tucker looking like a true farmer. In his Pj's ( at 4:30) and his bent up hillbilly looking hat.
These are some of the many geese that can't seem to get enough worms, bugs, etc at the pond since it flooded last week. They seem to be in bug heaven.
These are the bunnies, Peter and Billy. According to Tucker, Peter is the one that likes people and likes to watch TV.
I am just positive that all of you would love to come and spend theday all of these waky animals :)

more bunnies

I think it is hilarious that Tucker insists on playing with the bunnies inside, but I let him. He promises he will take them outside if they have to go to the bathroom. ( uh, OK) I try to let him have some fun with in limits. Here the bunny is eating off the table something that not even we do that often! Go figure... That rabbit is getting some royal treatment!

bunnies and stripes!

Weston's dad surprised the kids with 3 bunnies for Easter about 3 weeks ago. Tucker absolutely loves to hold them and let them out of their cage. Here is the sweet bunny that sat and watched Shark boy and Lava girl with the kiddos last night. Trapper wanted to get a hold on that rabbit soo bad. It was so cute. I didn't notice until later that they both had on stripes.

snow time

Saturday morning we went over to the Paisley's to sled down their hill. Ansley wouldn't go and John Robert didn't really like it so the hung out in the covered wagon. Wouldn't you know that my camera batteries ran out when I really wanted to get some great family shots :( bummer! These are what I got before the battery went. Brooks and Tucker had a blast as did all of us adults. I think I might want it to snow again. But then again maybe not. I'll settle for next year.

No-One

Ansley has recently taken a great liking to Alecia Keys. She absolutely loves the song, No-one. I happened to record it on the grammy's and she has requested to watch it non-stop. She conjured up her own way of performing the song ( just like Alecia Keys). She must have her brown shoes, bangles, her piano and her microphone. She has now even gotten to where she wants black pants on. It is the most precious thing to hear her sing it. When she is finished she asks you to address her as Alecia Keys.
