Anyone ready to be baptized?

If you decide that you would like to become a christian, Rev. Ansley Jane can do the job of baptizing you. She has really enjoyed baptizing people lately. She watched a girl named Joy get baptized at Church a couple of weeks ago and has really been fascinated with her since. She has begun "dunking" everyone. We even have a little Church of Christ humor thrown in about how all of who ever's body not going completely under. It is funny to hear her say the standard," in the name of the father and the son and the holy ghost"... then she will squeeze your nose so hard that it hurts and throw you back. The trouble is you have to get up by yourself.

Chicago Trip - Day 2

The first part of Friday was spent at the Field Museum. It was fascinating. They had everything a kid could ever want to see. Tucker really had a great time seeing the mummies and was actually really concerned about how they all died. He worried about it all weekend after that. I tried to give him a really good lesson on diseases and how they used to kill mass amounts of people but I think I was talking over his head.

The second part of the day and night was spent Going to See Cory Hart play in Milwaukee. It took us 4 hours to get from Chicago to Milwaukee. It should on be like 45 minutes but the Highways there are horrific. We think Scottsville road is bad...we've got nothing on them.
Tucker got to see Cory play and really enjoyed the ball field. They had several games in the stadium for kids to participate in . Tucker got to take batting practice and swung with his left hand and didn't even come close to hitting the ball.

Chicago Trip- Day One

I thought I would never figure out how to download pictures off of our new camera. BUT I did, only 3 months later. I said along time ago that I would share some highlights from our trip to Chicago. So here you go...

DAY ONE

Thursday: Arrival to the Windy City just during evening rush hour.

On the way there in the car, Tucker managed to get 4 out of 7 Truckers to honk at him. He was a bit timid at first but he finally got the hang of and really enjoyed the car ride after that.

We got to the hotel and Went to see the FABULOUS indoor pool. Well maybe not so fabulous. It was only 4 feet by 4 feet by 4 feet. But Tucker liked it regardless.

That night we ate diner at Giodorno's deep dish pizza. While we waited we went to the 4 story GAP and the Lego store. Those pictures are below. Tucker was in heaven! He absolutely loved it and wanted to go back like 500 more times in the next 2 days. Luckily it was right by our hotel.

All of the statues below are actually made out of Lego's. It was really neat and I too can see why Tuck loved it so much.

Tucker has recently decided that he may be a photographer. I will include some of his masterpieces here. If you need a family portrait I am sure he would love to come and take a few snapshots for you. Just give him a call at 555-foto.
